Ruby Baggan

Clinical Herbalist · Registered Dietitian · Functional Nutrition Practitioner
Healing begins when the body is understood — not managed. I work at the intersection of functional nutrition, clinical herbalism, and nervous system science to address what most practitioners miss.
Integrative Gut & Nervous System Healing with Ruby, a functional and Ayurvedic nutrition expert, guiding women on a holistic wellness journey focused on emotional healing, nervous system balance, and root cause healing from within.

From My Own Healing to This Work

My path into this practice began through lived experience.

Like many of the people I support, I appeared high-functioning on the outside while quietly navigating digestive imbalance, chronic stress, and a growing disconnection from my body. I searched for answers for years — through conventional medicine, functional testing, and restrictive protocols — and found that most approaches addressed symptoms without touching the deeper patterns driving them.

That experience reshaped everything I understand about healing.

I came to see that gut health and nervous system regulation are inseparable. When the body feels safe, supported, and properly nourished, healing becomes sustainable — not cyclical.

This understanding continues to guide every aspect of my clinical work today.

What Makes This Approach Different

Most gut health programs focus on food — what to remove, what to add, which protocol to follow next.

This work goes deeper.

As a clinical herbalist and gut health dietitian, I work with the full picture: digestive physiology, nervous system regulation, herbal support, and the daily rhythms that allow the body to heal and stabilize over time. When the gut and nervous system are addressed together, symptoms shift in ways that elimination diets and supplements alone rarely produce.

Root Cause Healing

Uncovering the deeper patterns beneath digestive symptoms rather than managing them at the surface. When the underlying imbalances are addressed, healing becomes more sustainable.

Nervous System Regulation

Supporting the body’s ability to move out of chronic stress physiology so digestion can function as designed. The gut cannot fully heal while the nervous system remains dysregulated.

Integrative Herbalism

Using clinical herbal medicine alongside functional nutrition to restore gut function, reduce inflammation, and build long-term digestive resilience — without forcing the body beyond its capacity.

Who I Work With

Ruby Baggan is a clinical herbalist and functional nutrition practitioner specializing in root-cause gut healing and nervous system regulation.

I specialize in supporting people who appear to have it together — in their careers, as mothers, or both — while privately navigating bloating, fatigue, irregular digestion, and symptoms that feel impossible to figure out.

Many have already tried elimination diets, supplements, and multiple practitioners — or spent years in doctors’ offices only to be told their labs are normal and everything looks fine, while continuing to suffer inside their own body. They are not looking for more information. They are looking for clarity, expert guidance, and a path that actually holds.

If that resonates, I would be glad to explore how we can work together.
